The Tallas D-ESUB 1200 is an underwater booster pump made of synthetic and stainless steel materials, suitable for irrigating gardens and supplying domestic water. This pump is fitted with a built-in pressure switch, so that it switches on and off automatically depending on water requirement. It is ideal if you have a water source in which this pump can be set up for supplying your home and garden automatically with water. This borehole pump operates quietly and is also equipped with built-in dry-running protection. This means that the pump automatically switches off if it is no longer able to process the water: for example, if the water source has run dry. This feature protects your pump against damage due to running dry.

Tallas
The Tallas brand has been around for many years, and has always focused on the consumer market. They have come up with some handy solutions, in particular for garden irrigation and ditchwater or rainwater use. Tallas is part of DAB, and therefore its pumps meet the same high standards, although lighter materials are often used, which makes a slight difference in quality. Tallas is particularly good at providing simple solutions, with which they equip their pumps as standard, and are ideal for many consumers. For example, a built-in pre-filter that protects the pump because it stops dirt from entering it, but also light garden pumps that are fitted with a handle and footrest. This makes them easy to move and immediately available for small irrigation jobs.
Dry-running protection
The name says it all: this pump is protected from running dry. Most pumps cannot, if at all, operate dry for long, which usually ends in the pump immediately burning out and/or seizing. For example, this could happen if the source has run dry and the pump can no longer draw water from it. Garden and booster pumps are particularly sensitive to running dry. Some borehole pumps and somewhat more advanced garden pumps are already equipped with built-in dry-running protection. Others can be easily fitted with a dry-running protection system: for example, with a separate one or with the DAB Control-D. This definitely guarantees that the garden or booster pump will not run dry.
Automatic activation / deactivation
This pump switches on or off automatically if you open or close a water point that is connected to the pump. In many cases, this feature is a considerable advantage: for example, when irrigating a garden with a hand-held sprayer, or supplying a toilet or washing machine with rainwater. It is also useful if you want to increase the water pressure in your home. Unlike standard garden pumps, booster pumps - because of the difference in pressure - 'notice' when one or more water points are opened or closed. This is how the pump knows that it needs to start or stop. Standard booster pumps (which are mounted to a tank) are equipped with a mechanical switch, and the more advanced ones have electronic switches. Both systems have advantages and disadvantages. The mechanical switch is reliable but can either not be set or it is difficult to do so, while the electronic version can be set but is dependent on electricity.

Zeer snel geleverd, alles prima in orde en de aansluiting was een fluitje van een cent. Geen enkel probleem.Wat echter nergens vermeld werd en ik toevallig gevonden heb is de opmerking dat de pomp max twintig x per uur opgestart mag worden. Aangezien de pomp bestemd is voor gebruik in een kapsalon hield ik mijn hart vast. We zijn een maand verder en tot nu toe geen enkel probleem vastgesteld. De pomp doet haar werk naar behoren en zonder problemen.
Hopelijk blijft dat zo ...

Dit is de tweede pomp die we kopen van dit type. We waren zeer tevreden van de eerste pomp, dus voor de andere regenwaterput hebben we dezelfde gekocht. Je moet wel voorzichtig zijn met het plastic koppelstuk dat bijgeleverd is om de slang aan te sluiten. Breekt makkelijk af. Zeer snelle en correcte levering. Goed te installeren en (tot nu toe) goede werking...In verband met (geringe kans op zand) ook een voorfilter besteld/gekocht en geleverd maar is niet combineerbaar met dit type ( en hopelijk ook niet nodig). Voorfilter terug gestuurd en gecrediteerd.
Zou beter zijn als er een check is in het leveringsproces vanuit 'waterpomp.be' op de correctheid (compabiliteit van de bestelling). Misschien ten koste van de snelheid van levering maar voorkomt onnodig werk en kosten...

zeer snelle levering , 30 dec besteld en 31dec al geleverd das rap top service , over de pomp zelf ziet er goed uit en gemakkelijk te instaleren , goede uitleg erbij en bij vragen kan men ook mailen ,over de werking is top heb meer druk van de pomp als druk die via de leiding binnen komt en hoor hem niet ( zit ja in de put )
alleen jammer dat het min op 20cm van de boden moet ook bij een betonnen regenput zo verlies men 20 cm water , begrijp niet goed want er kom geen vuil in de put ( of toch heel weinig )
anders ben tevreden over de pomp

What kind of water can I pump with this model?
The Tallas D-ESUB 1200 is only suitable to pump clean water; i.e. water that is free from very large solid particles. However, ensure that the water is free from sand, gravel, or street dirt, and that the water temperature is not lower than 0°C and not higher than 35°C.
Why a borehole pump and not a submersible pump, garden pump or booster pump?
Submersible pumps have an average delivery head of 7 metres, while garden and booster pumps can only draw in water from a maximum depth of 9 metres.
Borehole pumps exceed the limits of the other pumps, and are usually able to lift water to a height of 50 metres.
Ideal for garden irrigation or for supplying water in domestic situations.

How do I install a borehole pump?
First, the borehole pump needs to be immersed in the water. It is important that the pump is situated at least 50 cm from the bottom so that it does not draw in any sand, gravel, or other dirt. Furthermore, a borehole pump may be submerged to a maximum depth of 20 metres.
Can I convert this model into an automatic pump?
This borehole pump is fitted with a built-in pressure switch, which ensures that the pump operates fully automatically.
This means that the pump switches on automatically if water supply is needed (e.g. opening a tap) and off when it is no longer needed.
