Product description
The Tallas D-ECONCEPT booster pump is the latest Tallas showpiece. Thanks to it's great price/quality ratio, this multi-functional booster pump is ideal for any domestic situation, from pressure boosting to garden irrigation. This booster pump supplies you with water whenever needed. As soon as you open a supply point, the pump will automatically switch on and pump water from a source. Moreover, the D-ECONCEPT can also be used in situations where a specific water pressure must be realised. The pump will automatically switch on to ensure the best results.
The D-ECONCEPT is equipped with a frequency-controlled system, ensuring the pump will only run at the speed required to pump water from A to B at the right pressure. Fully automated and extremely silent. In addition to its energy-saving features, this also extends the lifespan of the pump.
Thanks to its advanced technology, this multi-functional booster pump is suitable for multiple purposes:
- Irrigation and sprinkling of your garden or lawn (even in combination with multiple groups)
- Cleaning your terrace, backyard deck or garden furniture
- (Rain)water supply of your washing machine, toilet, sink, shower, etc.
- Increasing water pressure
- Supplying water systems
The device is also equipped with a built-in check valve and pre-filter. The pre-filter prevents suspended solids from entering the pump housing and damaging your pump. This pre-filter can be easily opened and cleaned using the included multi-tool.
The pump can be easily controlled using the LCD screen, which allows you to set the cut-in and cut-out pressures, monitor overall energy conlifting stationtion and read back any potential error messages. By default, the pump is set to factory settings, which are suitable for the most common situations. In most cases, adjusting the settings is not necessary.

What is the difference between a regular booster pump and the Tallas D-ECONCEPT?
The Tallas D-ECONCEPT comes equipped with the latest technology, which distinguishes it from the entire market.
Regular booster pumps are louder (about 85 dB versus about 70 dB) and not speed controlled. In particular, the pump’s speed controller makes it stand out from the rest. And we have not even mentioned its high pump capacity and pressure. Furthermore, this pump also has an integrated pre-filter, which serves to stop dirt particles from entering the pump, thereby extending its life.
What is the difference between the Tallas D-ECONCEPT and the DAB e.sybox mini?
The Tallas D-ECONCEPT and the DAB e.sybox mini are equal in terms of performance. In this respect, the Tallas D-ECONCEPT can be regarded as a starter model and the DAB e.sybox mini as a professional model. For prolonged use (more than three consecutive hours), you are advised to opt for the DAB e.sybox mini. In any other situation, however, with the Tallas D-ECONCEPT you will have a top product with a highly competitive price-quality ratio.
What is a speed controller?
A speed controller ensures that the pump runs at an RPM in line with the water requirement, which means it will usually run at a low speed. If only one tap is opened, the pump's RPM will be exactly enough to keep the tap at the right pressure. This means that your pump is extremely energy efficient and will last a very long time.
What can I use this pump for?
This pump is suitable for the following purposes:
- Watering, spraying, and irrigating a garden or lawn (even with several groups)
- Hosing down a terrace, decking or garden furniture
- Supplying water/rainwater for your washing machine, toilet, sink, shower, etc.
- Increasing water pressure
- Controlling water systems
Can this pump be connected to the existing mains water pipes in my house?
Yes, this pump can be connected to the existing mains water pipes in your house.
If the water pressure is too low or if you want to increase the number of draw-off points in your home, the Tallas D-ECONCEPT will provide a perfect solution.
What kind of water can I pump with this model?
The Tallas D-CONCEPT is only suitable to pump clean water, i.e. water that is free from very large solid particles (< 2 mm).
This means that you can also pump water from a canal or ditch, but subject to certain conditions:
- We recommend making use of a suction hose with a brass connection (better filtration).
In addition, the water should not be colder than 0°C and not warmer than 40°C.
Is the pump suitable for continuous operation?
No, this pump is not suitable for continuous operation (more than three consecutive hours).
Is it advisable to use a pre-filter?
The Tallas D-ECONCEPT is fitted with an integrated pre-filter. In all situations (with the exception of drinking water), we recommend making use of a pre-filter, which will stop dirt particles from entering the pump. However, a pre-filter needs to be well maintained. The dirtier the water, the more frequently the filter will need to be cleaned. The Tallas D-ECONCEPT is supplied with a multitool with which the filter can be easily opened to clean it.
How should the pump be installed?
The pump and the entire connected system need to be protected against frost and inclement weather conditions.
Therefore, place the pump in a dry location with an ambient temperature from 5°C to 40°C, to allow the motor to cool sufficiently.
Furthermore, all connected pipes must be absolutely watertight and airtight to prevent damage and loss of performance.
The water to be drawn in by the pump is situated at a level lower than nine metres. How do I handle this?
Generally, garden pumps and booster pumps can draw in water from a maximum depth of nine metres.
If the water is occasionally at a depth lower than nine metres, you will need to use a borehole pump, which is placed in the well and usually has a delivery head of 50 metres and over.
Check our range of borehole pumps.
What happens if the water from the source is finished?
This is a water-cooled model pump, which means that it cools itself with the water it pumps.
When the water from the source is finished - for example, if the water level has dropped below nine metres - the pump will normally keep running with no water supply.
This is referred to as 'dry running' and may cause the pump to become overheated, which could ruin it.
However, the pump is fitted with an integrated dry-running protection system, which protects the pump immediately from running dry.
The Tallas D-ECONCEPT switches off automatically when no water can be supplied.
Is the pump suitable for a drinking-water system?
Yes, this pump is suitable for a drinking-water system.
Is the pump supplied ready to use?
Yes, you can start using the pump immediately, but it is not supplied with accessories such as a suction hose and a discharge hose.
If needed, these can be ordered conveniently from our webshop together with your pump.
