- More specifications
The Grundfos Unilift CC handles a lot of pumping jobs that require a low inlet. This pump handles clean and slightly dirty water. You can get your floor dry enough to use a mop, as this pump can be converted to a submersible utility pump. The combination of composite and stainless steel makes the pump very reliable and solid. The self-bleeding valve in the handle it uses is an innovative solution. It has an integrated air-bleed valve that prevents air from remaining in the pump The pump also has a check valve on the pressure side. The valve prevents water from flowing back into the pump.
Different versions
The Unilift CC series has three models. The CC 5 with a pump capacity of 6,000 litres per hour, going up to the CC 9 with a pump capacity of 14,000 litres per hour. The semi-open impeller lets the pump handle solids with a diameter of up to 10mm. The stainless-steel strainer prevents larger parts from entering the pump. This Grundfos Unilift CC comes with an adaptor/hose fitting, which allows it to fit onto 3/4”, 1”, or 1 1/4” hoses/connectors.
If you wish to transform the Grundfos submersible pump into a utility pump, you only need to detach the stainless-steel suction strainer. It is easy to attach and allows the submersible pump to create suction down to a very low water level of 3mm. It is the user-friendly, durable Grundfos Unilift CC submersible pump that can handle any pumping job around your home. This Grundfos submersible pump has a truly wide range of applications for different pump jobs in and around your house and business:
- Water and rainwater in horticulture
- Water from rivers and lakes
- Rain water, drain water, and flood water
- Water for filling/emptying containers, ponds, tanks, etc.
- Waste water from showers, washing machines, and sinks below sewer level
- Swimming pool water
- Drain water from a ditch
- Groundwater (reduction)
- Effluent from flyovers, tunnels, etc.
- Drain water from garage sprinkler systems.
This pump does not have a float switch, which means it does not automatically switch on and off based on the water level.
This submersible pump pumps water down to a level of 3mm
Are you looking for a pump that starts automatically? In that case, you should opt for a submersible utility pump with a float switch, such as the Grundfos Unilift CC 5 A1 or the DAB Nova Up 300 M-AE.
